SERVE TRAN IS A RURAL PUBLIC MASS TRANSPORTATION SERVICE PROVIDING BOTH DEMAND AND SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE. A PRIORITY EMPHASIS IS PLACED ON AVAILABILITY OF THE SERVICE TO THE ELDERLY AND DISABLED. THE PROGRAM OFFERS REGULAR ROUTES TO MEDICAL CENTERS IN NEARBY COUNTIES, AS WELL AS VARIOUS OTHER STOPS SUCH AS: NEARBY EMPLOYMENT CENTERS, GROCERY STORES, BEAUTY PARLORS, ETC. SERVE PROVIDES A MASS RURAL TRANSPORTATION SERVICE, OTHER EMERGENCIES.
TRENDS IS A LOCAL THRIFT STORE. IT RECEIVES DONATIONS OF GENTLY USED AND NEW CLOTHING AND HOUSEHOLD ITEMS FROM THE COMMUNITY. ONCE THE ITEMS ARE RECEIVED, TRENDS STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS SORT THE ITEMS AND PLACE OUT FOR SALE.
