INSTRUCTIONAL EXPENDITURES - COSTS INCURRED IN PROVIDING ACADEMIC INSTRUCTION TO KINDERGARTENERS THROUGH 8TH GRADE STUDENTS IN ORDER TO PREPARE THEM TO MEET ACADEMIC GOALS ESTABLISHED BY THE NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND ACT AND TO ACQUIRE THE BEHAVIORS, TASK COMMITMENT AND CREATIVITY TO SUCCEED IN THE CURRENT EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT. THESE COSTS INCLUDE ALL EXPENSES FOR ALL REGULAR CLASSROOM TEACHERS AND ALL SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHERS AT THE SCHOOL. ALSO REFLECTED IN THIS TOTAL ARE THE COSTS FOR ALL INSTRUCTIONAL SUPPLIES INCLUDING BOOKS AND COMPUTERS. AS A RESULT OF THE PANDEMIC, THE SCHOOL CONTINUED ITS INVESTMENT IN TECHNOLOGY AND OTHER RESOURCES TO SUPPORT REMOTE LEARNING FOR STUDENTS.
STUDENTS SERVICES EXPENDITURES - COSTS INCURRED IN PROVIDING SERVICES TO STUDENTS THAT ARE NOT DIRECT INSTRUCTION. THESE SERVICES INCLUDE NURSING, PSYCHOLOGICAL, AND SOCIAL WORK SERVICES. ALSO INCLUDED ARE TECHNOLOGICAL SUPPORT SERVICES, REGULAR DAILY TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, SECURITY SERVICES AND THE COSTS OF LEASING THE SCHOOL BUILDING, HOUSEKEEPING SERVICES, AND UTILITIES.
NON-INSTRUCTIONAL SERVICE EXPENDITURES - COSTS INCURRED IN PROVIDING BUS TRANSPORTATION FOR FIELD TRIPS AND DAILY FOOD SERVICE AT THE SCHOOL, INCLUDING ASSOCIATED FOOD AND PERSONNEL COSTS.
