CARAS OF THE AMERICAS WAS FORMED TO PROMOTE INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATION AND EXCHANGE AMONG ALL PEOPLE OF THE WESTERN HEMISPHERE; TO PROMOTE GRASSROOTS DEVELOPMENT; TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE IMPROVED PROVISION OF THE EDUCATION AND HEALTH SERVICES; TO ENCOURAGE CIVIC PARTICIPATION AND PROGRESS; TO EMPOWER THROUGH LEARNING. ALSO ESCUELA CON CAUSA EPA-RCM LLC WAS CREATED TO OPERATE A GRADE 6 THROUGH GRADE 12 PUBLIC-SCHOOL ROSALINA C. MARTINEZ (RCM), A SCHOOL WITHIN THE PUBLIC EDUCATION SYSTEM OF THE PUERTO RICO DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION (THE DEPARTMENT), LOCATED IN THE AMELIA COMMUNITY OF GUAYNABO. RCM IS BEING OPERATED BY THE SCHOOL PURSUANT TO THE PUBLIC SCHOOLS ALLIANCE PROGRAM (KNOWN AS "ESCUELAS PUBLICAS ALIANZAS" IN SPANISH) ESTABLISHED BY ACT NO. 85 OF MARCH 29, 2018 (ACT NO. 85-2018) AS AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ACT FOR THE EDUCATIONAL REFORM OF PUERTO RICO.

EDUCATION SERVICES: WE CONTINUED TO COORDINATE AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAMS FOR UNDERPRIVILEGED CHILDREN TO PROVIDE IMPROVED PROVISIONS OF THE EDUCATION SERVICES. WE SERVED OVER SEVERAL CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY. WE OFFER ACADEMIC TUTORING, ARTS, CRAFTS, SPORTS, MENTORING,COLLEGUE PREP,ETC. AMONG OUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS IS THAT ALL OUR STUDENTS PASSED TO THE NEXT LEVEL, AWE PROVIDED MORE THAN 4,000 TUTORING HOURS. PROVIDED 4 SCHOOL NURSERIES.


OTHER PROGRAMS-ECONOMY AND ENCOUNTERS PROGRAMS


ECOLOGY- WITH THE RAICES URBANAS PROJECT, WE CONTINUED THE NURSERY AND PLANTING SEVERAL HUNDRED TREES WITH STUDENTS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD FOREST. WE PROVIDED OVER 1,300 ECOLOGY CONTACT HOURS AND PLANTED AROUND 1,100 TREE. CREATED 5 MICRO-FOREST (URBAN FOREST).


COMMUNITY- DELIVERED ALMOST 11,000 (HOT MEALS) AND 9,000 GALLONS OF POTABLE WATER DISTRIBUTED IN THE COMMUNITIES.
