FEMA FUNDS FOR COVID-19 VACCINATION: FROM 2021 TO 2022 THE ORGANIZATION RECEIVED $20,237,918 THROUGH THE PUERTO RICO DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH TO MAINTAIN PERMANENT VACCINATION CENTERS AROUND PUERTO RICO TO CONDUCT COMMUNITY VACCINATION EFFORTS AGAINST COVID-19. THROUGH AN EDUCATIONAL CAMPAIGN, THE ORGANIZATION INFORMED THE PEOPLE OF THE RISKS OF COVID-19 AND THE IMPORTANCE OF GETTING THE VACCINE. DURING 2021 THERE WERE SEVEN VACCINATION CENTERS OPERATING AND A TOTAL OF 828,000 VACCINE DOSES WERE ADMINISTRATED. THIS PROGRAM WAS EXTENDED UNTIL DECEMBER 2022.
