THE FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY PROVIDED $6000 TO THE LIBRARY TO PURCHASE BOOKS. COUNTY GIVES A VERY SMALL AMOUNT FOR BOOKS, AND FOL SUPPLIES THE MAJORITY OF THE MONIES NEEDED FOR BOOKS. $1,447.15 WAS PROVIDED FOR A NEW SIGN FOR THE LIBRARY. SUPPLIES OF $3775 AND REPAIRS TO A BATHROOM OF $338.51 WERE ALSO PROVIDED. FOL USUALLY PROVIDES MORE BUT THE HEAD LIBRARY WHO REQUESTS THE FUNDS NEEDED FOR THE LIBRARY WAS OUT ON SICK LEAVE FOR MOST OF THE YEAR. A NEW HEAD LIBRARIAN HAS NOW BEEN SELECTED SO FUNDING WILL INCREASE IN THE NEXT YEAR.
