TO TELL THE STORY OF AGRICULTURE IN NORTH CENTRAL IOWA, TO PRESERVE SOME LOCAL COLLECTIONS, AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR THE MUSEUM AND COMMUNITY.

TOURS OF THE MUSEUM - MOST OF THE TOURS ARE GUIDED BY A MEMBER OF THE MUSEUM STAFF TO EXPLAIN THE HISTORY AND BACKGROUND OF THE EXHIBITS. THE MUSEUM HAD DISPLAYS AND EXHIBITS FROM THE 1930S, 1950S, AND THE VICTORIAN ERA. ADDITIONAL DISPLAYS INCLUDED RESTORED ANTIQUE TRACTORS, HORSE BUGGIES, MODEL TOY TRACTORS AND TOY EQUIPMENT, CLOCKS,SIGNS, AN ANTIQUE HAT DISPLAY, AND ARTIST TEDDY BEAR DISPLAYS.
PROVIDE COMMUNITY ROOM FOR USE BY THE MUSEUM AND LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS. THE COMMUNITY ROOM IS MADE AVAILABLE TO LOCAL COMMUNITY AND GOVERNMENT GROUPS TO USE FOR MEETINGS. THE ROOM SERVES AS THE LOCATION FOR MUCH OF THE MUSEUM ACTIVITIES DURING THE YEAR.
