TO ENHANCE AND BROADEN COMMUNITY SUPPORT FOR PUBLIC EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE PRIVATE FUNDING FOR ENHANCEMENT, INNOVATION, AND CHALLENGING PROGRAMS ACROSS A STUDENTS K12 EXPERIENCES IN THE VAN BUREN COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS. WE ARE TRULY INTERESTED IN PROVIDING OUR STUDENTS WITH EVERY OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN AND MAKE A BETTER FUTURE.

THE FOUNDATION IS COMMITTED TO PROVIDING PRIVATE FUNDING FOR ENHANCEMENT, INNOVATION, AND CHALLENGING PROGRAMS ACROSS A STUDENT'S K-12 EXPERIENCES IN THE VAN BUREN COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS. VAN BUREN COUNTY SCHOOL TEACHERS HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO APPLY FOR A 450 CLASSROOM "MINI-GRANT" FOR PROJECTS THEY DEEM NECESSARY, BUT ONES THE DISTRICT HAS NO FUNDS TO SUPPLY. EVERY YEAR APPROXIMATELY 4,000 IS DONATED THROUGH THE MINI-GRANTS.
THE FOUNDATION MANAGES AND AWARDS SCHOLARSHIPS TO VAN BUREN AND OTTUMWA HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES.
