COMMUNITY AND PROJECT BASED PROPERTY MANAGEMENT - OWN AND MANAGE RENTAL HOUSING UNITS FOR LOW-INCOME FAMILIES. RENTAL MANAGEMENT INCLUDES THE ADMINISTRATION OF RENTAL SUBSIDIES, THE MARKETING AND LEASING OF BOTH OWNED AND NON-OWNED UNITS, ENSURING UNIT AND FAMILY COMPLIANCE WITH BUILDING AND OCCUPANCY CODES, AS WELL AS OTHER REGULATORY AGENCIES.SERVICES ARE PROVIDED THROUGH THE FOLLOWING:PERMANENT RENTAL HOUSING TO QUALIFIED LOW INCOME INDIVIDUALS/FAMILIES WITH A SECTION 8 SUBSIDY VOUCHER LOW INCOME HOUSING CONTRACTED THROUGH DES MOINES PUBLIC HOUSING LOW INCOME HOUSING WITHIN LIMITED PARTNERSHIP ARRANGEMENTS
HOUSING DEVELOPMENT - PROVIDE COORDINATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF HOUSING PROJECTS FOR THE GENERAL LOW INCOME PUBLIC. HOUSING IS DEVELOPED AS AFFORDABLE TO THESE HOUSEHOLDS WITH AN INCOME THAT IS 60% OR LESS OF THE AREA MEDIAN INCOME.

FAMILY SERVICES - THESE SERVICES INCLUDE ASSISTING FAMILIES LIVING IN AFFILIATES HOUSING TO ESTABLISH GOALS WHICH WILL ENABLE THEM TO HANDLE FAMILY CRISES, STRENGTHEN ECONOMIC STABILITY, AND BECOME CONTRIBUTING MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY IN WHICH THEY LIVE.
