NAWBO IOWA BELIEVES THAT PROVIDING QUALITY PROGRAMMING IS AN ESSENTIAL PART OF OUR MISSION. OUR GOAL IS TO PRESENT TOPICS AT OUR LUNCH MEETINGS THAT APPEAL TO CURRENT MEMBERS AS WELL AS TO WOMEN BUSINESS OWNERS (WBO) IN OUR COMMUNITIES IN EFFORT TO ATTRACT NEW MEMBERS. IN ADDITION, WE HAVE MONTHLY COFFEE CONNECTIONS THAT PROVIDE AN OPPORTUNITY FOR MEMBERS TO NETWORK CASUALLY OVER COFFEE WITH OTHER MEMBERS AND GUESTS. NAWBO IOWA ANNUALLY PRESENTS THE CELEBRATION OF EXCELLENCE, AN AWARDS EVENT TO HONOR THREE DIFFERENT WOMEN. NAWBO IOWA ALSO OFFERS A BUSINESS INSTITUTE CLASS WHICH IS A 7-MONTH PROGRAM FOR WOMEN BUSINESS OWNERS, FOCUSED ON THE ULTIMATE GOAL OF BUSINESS GROWTH BY ENHANCING BUSINESS SKILLS, BUILDING LIKE-MINDED CONNECTIONS, AND RECEIVING EDUCATION THROUGH ENGAGEMENT. THE CLASS ALLOWS A SAFE AND CONFIDENTIAL ENVIRONMENT FOR OPEN DISCUSSION AND RELATIONSHIP BUILDING, AND PROVIDES THE OPPORTUNITY TO INCORPORATE BUSINESS PLANNING AND GOAL-SETTING.
