OSCEOLA COMMUNITY HOSPITAL PROVIDED NURSING SERVICES, LAB, RADIOLOGY, AND OTHER RELATED HOSPITAL FUNCTIONS TO RESIDENTS OF OSCEOLA COUNTY, IOWA AND NEARBY COUNTIES. IN ADDITION, THE HOSPITAL PROVIDES DAY CARE TO THE COMMUNITY. HEALTH SCREENINGS SUCH AS CHOLESTEROL AND CARDIAC ARE PROVIDED AS WELL. THE HOSPITAL WORKS HARD TO BRING OUTREACH SPECIALISTS TO THE FACILITY TO MAKE THESE SERVICES AVAILABLE TO THOSE THAT FIND IT DIFFICULT TO TRAVEL. THE FACILITY'S WELLNESS CENTER PROVIDES PROGRAMS TO THE LOCAL SCHOOL SYSTEM, NURSING HOME FACILITIES, OUTPATIENTS, AND THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE. DURING THE 12 MONTHS OF 7/01/2020-6/30/2021 THE HOSPITAL PROVIDED $202,000 OF CHARITY CARE CHARGES TO VARIOUS INDIVIDUALS, WITHOUT REIMBURSEMENT.
