LOBBYING/LEGISLATION - AS AN ASSOCIATION OF LICENSED CONTRACTORS AND THIER SUPPLIERS, BAM FOCUSED ON IMPROVING THE BUSINESS CLIMATE AND BUILDING PRACTICES THROUGH INVOLVEMENT IN THE LEGISLATIVE PROCESS BY MONITORING PROPOSED POLICY, ACTIVELY ADVANCING PROPOSALS TO ENHANCE THE INDUSTRY'S FUNCTIONALITY, AND ENGAGING WITH POLICY MAKERS TO PREVENT DYSFUNCTIONAL IDEAS FROM BECOMING LAW.
LEGAL ACTION FUND - THE PROGRAM IS A MEMBERSHIP SERVICE PROVIDING LEGAL SUPPORT TO DEVELOP A SOUND BODY OF LAW FOR THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY EITHER THROUGH LITIGATION OR AS AN AMICUS PARTICIPANT IN CASES WITH STATEWIDE IMPACTS ON RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION.
