LOSS CONTROL PROGRAM:WABA OFFERS A SAFETY AND LOSS PROGRAM TO ITS MEMBERS WHICH FUNCTIONS AS A "TURN-KEY" OSHA COMPLIANCE PROGRAM FOR THE MEMBERSHIP. THE PROGRAM INCLUDES DEVELOPMENT OF POLICIES AND PROCEDURES TAILORED TO THE INDIVIDUAL OPERATION AND PROVIDES ANNUAL REQUIRED SAFETY TRAINING TO THE PARTICIPANT'S EMPLOYEES.
EDUCATIONAL MEETINGS AND SEMINARS:WABA PROVIDES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR VARIOUS WORKSHOPS AND SEMINARS FOR THE MEMBERSHIP ON A VARIETY OF TOPICS. THESE SEMINARS HAVE COVERED SUCH SUBJECTS AS INSTRUCTION AND CERTIFICATION IN GRAIN GRADING, AND BOTH AN INTRODUCTORY AND ADVANCED INSTRUCTION IN GRAIN MERCHANDISING. IN ADDITION, WABA COORDINATES REGIONAL CONFERENCES IN DAIRY HERD HEALTH AND MANAGEMENT AND ANOTHER COVERING THE TOPIC OF DAIRY FORAGE MANAGEMENT. WABA ALSO OFFERED A LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT AND EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP SEMINARS FOR MEMBERS AS WELL AS ANIMAL FOOD SAFETY TRAINING.
