TO PROMOTE THE GENERAL WELFARE OF THE ROOFING INDUSTRY AND PUBLIC BY PROVIDING VARIOUS SERVICES, INCLUDING PROVIDING SAFETY TRAINING PROGRAMS, SAFETY INSPECTIONS ANS SAFETY PLANS FOR THE BENEFIT OF EMPLOYERS AND EMPLOYEES.

THE ORGANIZATION'S PROGRAMS INCLUDE INDUSTRY EDUCATION AND TRAINING, ADMINISTRATION OF COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENTS, INDUSTRY TECHNICAL RESEARCH, PUBLIC RELATIONS AND PROMOTIONS. THESE PROGRAMS EXPAND THE ROOFING INDUSTRY MARKET, IMPROVE EMPLOYER-UNION RELATIONS, AND INCREASE CONTRIBUTIONS BY THE INDUSTRY TO THE COMMUNITY. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO PROVIDES SCHOLARSHIPS; SEVEN SCHOLARSHIPS WERE AWARDED DURING 2023.THE ORGANIZATION CONDUCTED 57 INDUSTRY SAFETY SEMINARS, 1,252 JOBSITE SAFETY INSPECATIONS AND DEVELOPED 52 JOBSITE SAFETY PLANS DURING 2023 FOR THE BENEFIT OF 43 CONTRACTORS. THESE SERVICES CONTRIBUTED TO THE SAFETY OF APPROXIMATELY 800 EMPLOYEES AS WELL AS THE GENERAL PUBLIC.


THE FUND REMIBURSED EMPLOYERS FOR THE COST OF PRE-EMPLOYMENT PHYSICAL EXAMS, FITNESS AND DRUG TESTS, AND REHABILITATION BENEFITS.
