THE MISSION OF THE NORTHFIELD ARTS GUILD IS TO INSPIRE OUR COMMUNITY BY DEVELOPING, SUPPORTING, AND PROVIDING QUALITY ARTISTIC OPPORTUNITIES. WE OFFER CLASSES, THEATER PERFORMANCES, CONCERTS, A GALLERY AND SHOP WHERE PEOPLE MAY PARTICIPATE AS ARTISTS, LEARNERS, AND AUDIENCE MEMBERS.

EDUCATION: THE GUILD OFFERS DEVELOPMENTAL, SEQUENCED CLASSES FOR ALL LEVELS OF STUDENTS IN THEATER, DANCE, MUSIC, AND VISUAL ARTS. KEY PROGRAMS INCLUDE CLAY PROGRAM, DANCE PROGRAM, AND CLASSES IN VISUAL ARTS. IN ITS 31ST YEAR, THE YOUTH PEOPLE'S THEATER WORKSHOP AGAIN OFFERED TWO IN-PERSON THREE-WEEK WORKSHOPS. THE PURPLE DOOR YOUTH THEATER OFFERED AN ON-LINE PRODUCTION OF PETER PAN. THE GUILD CONTINUED TO EXPAND ITS ART AT HOME AND OUTREACH EFFORTS BY OFFERING FREE ART KITS AND FREE DROP-IN ART-MAKING SESSIONS, OFFERED IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH.
GALLERY AND SHOP: THE GALLERY EXHIBITED HIGH QUALITY VISUAL ARTS OF OVER 115 ADULT AND YOUTH ARTISTS. THERE WERE EXHIBITIONS IN EIGHT GALLERY SPACES. THE SHOP SOLD WORKS FROM OVER 115 REGIONAL ARTISTS. THERE WERE OVER 6,000 VISITORS TO THE GALLERY AND SHOP.
THEATER PRODUCTIONS: THE THEATER SEASON WAS REDUCED TO ONE PLAYS BY COVID-19. THIS PLAY INCLUDED THE WORK OF 15 ACTORS AND ARTISTIC CREW MEMBERS.
