ITS PURPOSE IS TO BE A VOICE IN CIVIC AFFAIRS AFFECTING OUR COMMUNITY, INCREASE COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT, AND PROMOTE SOCIAL, CULTURAL, RECREATIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES. ACCOMPLISHMENTS INCLUDE A COMMUNITY FESTIVAL AND A FUNDRAISER (FOR NEIGHBORHOOD GRANTS) FEATURING LOCAL RESTAURANTS; EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS ON THE ENVIRONMENT; COMMUNITY MEETINGS/OPEN HOUSES RE: NEIGHBORHOOD ISSUES.
