THE MISSION OF THE BRAINERD AMATEUR HOCKEY FOUNDATION IS TO SUPPORT EDUCATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF QUALIFIED AMATEUR ATHLETES WHO REQUIRE EQUIPMENT AND FACILITIES IN ORDER TO PERFORM THEIR SPORT. SUCH SPORTS MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, HOCKEY AND FIGURE SKATING. THE PHILOSOPHICAL FOUNDATION OF ITS MISSIONS IS THE BELIEF THAT PARTICIPATION IN ORGANIZED SPORTS CAN MAKE A SIGNIFICANT CONTRIBUTION TO THE SPIRITUAL, ACADEMIC, SOCIAL, AND PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT OF YOUTH. PARTICIPATION IN ATHLETIC SPORTS IS THEREFORE AN IMPORTANT PART OF A BALANCED LIFESTYLE THAT REINFORCES VALUES TAUGHT IN THE FAMILY AND BY OTHER EDUCATIONAL, RELIGIOUS AND SOCIAL ORGANIZATIONS AND IS AN IMPORTANT PART OF A HEALTHY COMMUNITY.
