FUNDRAISING ACTIVITES RELATED TO STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS AND THE GRANTING OF 15 SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDENTS SEEKING EDUCATION.
OUR FOUNDATION HAS CONTRACTS WITH FOUR SCHOOL DISTRICTS - THIS INCLUDED WORKING DIRECTLY WITH THEM TO INCREASE EDUCATION, CONNECTIONS OF BUSINESS LEADERS INTO THE CLASSROOM AND TEACHER & STUDENTS OUT INTO THE BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT. THIS WAS AROUND CAREER EXPLORATION, INCREASE ACTIVITIES, BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS, DEVELOPING AND IMPLEMENTING NEW PROGRAMS WITH A GOAL OF IMPACTING 500+ STUDENTS.
OUR FOUNDATION LAUNCHED A NEW TECHNOLOGY PLATFORM TO BRING TOGETHER WORKFORCE STAKEHOLDERS TO SHARE INFORMATION. THE PLAFTFORM PULLS JOB POSTS FROM COMPANIES' CAREER TRACKING SYSTEMS. JOB SEEKERS CAN APPLY TO OPEN POSITIONS DIRECTLY FROM THE SITE AND CREATE VIDEO COVER LETTERS. THEY CAN ALSO ACCESS ONLINE AND COLLEGE COURSES IN THEIR AREA.
