IN 2021, YOUTH SERVICE BUREAU (YSB) SERVED 827 YOUTH WHO RECEIVED A TOTAL OF 5,106 HOURS OF SERVICES. YSB'S YOUTH-FOCUSED FAMILY COUNSELORS WORKED WITH 325 YOUTH; 74% OF PARENTS REPORTED THAT THEIR ISSUES WERE RESOLVED OR MADE MANAGEABLE AFTER COMPLETING THERAPY. YSB'S CHEMICAL HEALTH SPECIALISTS PROVIDED SERVICES TO: 210 YOUTH IN CLINICAL SCHOOL BASED SERVICES; 112 YOUTH IN MENTAL HEALTH SCHOOL BASED SERVICES. 80% OF YOUTH INDICATED AN INCREASED RESILIENCE TO DRUGS AFTER 7 OR MORE SESSIONS. YSB DIVERSION SERVICES HELPED 199 YOUTH WHO RECEIVED 587 HOURS OF SERVICES FROM YSB STAFF, THE YOUTH PROVIDED 625 HOURS OF COMMUNITY WORK SERVICE AND 92% OF YOUTH COMPLETING YSB PROGRAMS HAVE NOT REOFFENDED IN THE FOLLOWING 12 MONTHS. YSB'S YOUTH AND FAMILY EDUCATION PROGRAMS REACHED 2,420 INDIVIDUALS VIA 56 YOUTH AND FAMILY EDUCATION CLASSES IN WASHINGTON COUNTY AND THE SURROUNDING AREA. 84.5% OF PARTICIPANTS INDICATED THAT THEY HAD INCREASED THEIR KNOWLEDGE AND AWARENESS AFTER ATTENDING AN EDUCATION SEMINAR.
