EXHIBIT GALLERY AND HISTORICAL BUILDINGS. WCHS' 3-D AND ARCHIVAL COLLECTIONS ARE EXHIBITED FREE OF CHARGE IN 3 EXHIBIT GALLERY AREAS AND IN THE FORM OF 5 HISTORICAL STRUCTURES. EACH EXHIBIT IS GEARED TO TEACH AND COMMUNICATE THE HISTORY OF WRIGHT COUNTY THROUGH ITS ARTIFACT COLLECTION. WCHS ACTIVELY COLLECTS AND PRESERVES OBJECTS AND ARCHIVAL MATERIAL RELATED TO WRIGHT COUNTY HISTORY. IN 2021, MORE THAN 1400 PEOPLE VISITED THE MUSEUM. AN ADDITIONAL 600 PEOPLE USED THE WCHS ACTIVITY ROOM.
LIBRARY AND ARCHIVES: WCHS PROVIDES FREE ACCESS TO A REFERENCE LIBRARY COLLECTION OF WRIGHT COUNTY HISTORY WHICH INCLUDES ARCHIVES, BOOKS, NEWSPAPERS, SUBJECT FILES AND MICROFILM OF NEWSWPAPERS, CENSUS RECORDS, NATURALIZATION RECORDS, PROBATE RECORDS, DEATH RECORDS, AND MORE. IN 2021, MORE THAN 200 PEOPLE VISITED THE LIBRARY, WITH MANY MORE THAT REMAINED UNDOCUMENTED.
MUSEUM PROGRAMS. WCHS INVITES THE PUBLIC, FREE OF CHARGE, TO SEE VOLUNTEERS DEMONSTRATE VARIOUS HISTORIC AND MODERN ARTS AND CRAFTS, HOUSEHOLD CHORES, AND AGRICULTURAL SKILLS AND POSSIBLY TEACH THE SKILL TO OTHERS. IN 2021, OVER 1300 PEOPLE VISITED SPECIAL PROGRAMS.
