ACTIVITIES AND EVENTSMRPA PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR USE OF LEISURE TIME AND QUALITY ENVIRONMENT THROUGH EDUCATION, RESEARCH, AND SERVICE. THE ASSOCIATION FACILITATES INFORMATION EXCHANGE AMONGST PARKS AND RECREATION PROFESSIONALS AND COORDINATES EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR NEARLY 900 MEMBERS.
RECREATIONAL SPORTS PROGRAMSMRPA IMPACTS HEALTH AND ACTIVE LIVING BY PROVIDING RECREATIONAL SPORTS PROGRAMS FOR MEMBER AGENCIES AND THE COMMUNITIES THEY SERVE. THESE PROGRAMS OFFER A SERVICE FOR MEMBERS, AND PROVIDE PROGRAM MODELS THAT MEMBER AGENCIES MAY USE WITHIN THEIR DEPARTMENTS AND COMMUNITIES.
