PROVIDE SERVICES TO BENEFIT THE RESIDENTS OF THE LITTLE EARTH OF UNITED TRIBES HOUSING COMMUNITY THROUGH A NETWORK OF SOCIAL SUPPORTS. THE SERVICES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: PROVIDING CULTURALLY SPECIFIC PROGRAMMING AND PERFORMANCES; YOUTH, ELDER, AND COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES; SOCIAL SERVICE PROGRAMMING AND GENERAL SUPPORT TO LITTLE EARTH OF UNITED TRIBES HOUSING DEVELOPMENT. THE MOST SIGNIFICANT CHANGES HAVE INVOLVED THE CONTINUATION OF THE OMNICIYE PARTNERSHIP WITH HENNEPIN COUNTY THAT PROVIDES ON-SITE SERVICES TO 60 LITTLE EARTH FAMILIES WITH THE GOAL OF EMPOWERMENT AND SELF-SUSTAINABILITY. TOGETHER, LITTLE EARTH AND HENNEPIN COUNTY CREATE AND/OR STRENGTHEN YOUTH AND ELDER PROGRAMMING AS WELL AS OFFER TRAININGS AND CLASSES TO THE GENERAL LITTLE EARTH COMMUNITY. LITTLE EARTH RESIDENT'S ASSOCIATION ALSO FOCUSES ON NUTRITION AND PHYSICAL EDUCATION THROUGH A YOUTH DEVELOPMENT CENTER THAT PROVIDES A MORE BALANCED AND HEALTHY SNACK SERVICE TO YOUTH COUPLED WITH AN INCREASE IN PHYSICAL FITNESS ACTIVITIES.
