THE ASSOCIATION IS AN ORGANIZATION OF APPROXIMATELY 1300 PROFESSIONAL EDUCATORS DEDICATED TO IMPROVEMENT OF THE EDUCATION SYSTEM IN MINNESOTA. THE ASSOCIATION IS INVOLVED IN THE REVIEW AND DEVELOPMENT OF EDUCATIONAL POLICY AT ALL LEVELS OF JUDICIAL, EXECUTIVE AND LEGISLATIVE GOVERNMENT.
THE ASSOCIATION PROVIDES SUPPORT AND ASSISTANCE TO ITS MEMBERS IN LEGAL PROTECTION, INSURANCE, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT, IN-SERVICE TRAINING AND MANY OTHER AREAS.THE ASSOCIATION CONTINUALLY PROVIDES INFORMATION TO ITS MEMBERS REGARDING NEW PROGRAMS, LEGAL UPDATES, LEGISLATIVE UPDATES AND CURRENT NEWS REGARDING THE PROFESSION.
