THE MINNEAPOLIS FEDERATION OF TEACHERS AND ESP (EDUCATION SUPPORT PROFESSIONALS), LOCAL 59, IS THE EXCLUSIVE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE TEACHERS AND EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANTS EMPLOYED BY THE MINNEAPOLIS SCHOOLS. WE WORK IN COLLABORATION WITH THE MINNEAPOLIS PUBLIC SCHOOLS TO PROVIDE HIGH QUALITY EDUCATION TO THE CHILDREN AND FAMILIES OF MINNEAPOLIS. WE HAVE BEEN SERVING THE NEEDS OF OUR MEMBERS SINCE 1919. WE ARE PROUD OF OUR MEMBERS AND OF WHAT THEY DO. THEY ARE AMONG THE BEST EDUCATORS IN THE COUNTRY. WE ARE AFFILIATES OF THE AMERICAN FEDERATION OF TEACHERS, THE AFL-CIO, AND EDUCATION MINNESOTA.
