WE ARE A PERMANENT RESOURCE DEDICATED TO ADDRESSING CHANGING NEEDS IN MINNESOTA - FOREVER. WE HELP PEOPLE AND ORGANIZATIONS TO RESOLVE PROBLEMS AND ADDRESS COMMUNITY NEEDS BY WORKING WITH DONORS, PROFESSIONAL AND LEGAL ADVISORS, NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS AND LOCAL LEADERS TO IDENTIFY AND SUPPORT CRITICAL NEEDS ACROSS MINNESOTA. WE INVEST CHARITABLE ASSETS ENTRUSTED TO US TO ADDRESS LONG-TERM COMMUNITY NEEDS AND HELP DONORS ACHIEVE THEIR CHARITABLE GIVING GOALS TO CREATE A LASTING LEGACY FOR THEIR COMMUNITY. THANKS TO THE GENEROSITY OF OUR DONORS, WE SUPPORT INITIATIVES AND PROJECTS DESIGNED TO ADDRESS COMPLEX COMMUNITY ISSUES AND BUILD CAPACITY TO MEET IMMEDIATE AND LONG-TERM NEEDS AND TO INSPIRE INNOVATION AND FRESH APPROACHES TO ADDRESS CHANGING COMMUNITY NEEDS.
MINNESOTA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION IS A LONGTIME SUPPORTER AND PROPONENT OF INNOVATIVE COMMUNITY INITIATIVES THAT SERVE MINNESOTA. THE FOUNDATION ALSO SERVES 13 GEOGRAPHIC COMMUNITY AFFILIATES WITH GRANT MAKING, FUNDRAISING AND TRAINING SUPPORT. EACH AFFILIATE HAS A COMMUNITY ENDOWMENT FUND AND IS LED BY COMMUNITY ADVISORS. TOGETHER, THE AFFILIATES HAVE MADE OVER 20 MILLION IN GRANTS OVER THE PAST 25 YEARS THAT ADDRESS ISSUES SELECTED BY PEOPLE IN THE COMMUNITIES THEY REPRESENT.
