OPTAGE EXTENDS THE HIGH QUALITY CARE OF PRESBYTERIAN HOMES & SERVICES INTO THE HOMES OF OLDER ADULTS. OPTAGE SERVES CLIENTS BY PROVIDING COORDINATION OF CARE AND COMMUNICATION TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF OLDER ADULTS WHO WISH TO REMAIN IN THEIR HOMES.


OPTAGE SENIOR DINING (OSD) CONSISTS OF HOME-DELIVERED MEALS AND CONGREGATE DINING. OSD HOME-DELIVERED MEALS ARE DESIGNED FOR OLDER ADULTS WHO ARE LOOKING TO SIMPLIFY THEIR MEAL PREPARATION AND STAY INDEPENDENT IN THEIR OWN HOMES. OSD SERVES OVER 20,000 MEALS PER MONTH IN CONGREGATE SETTING TO SENIORS AT 24 SITES IN RAMSEY, WASHINGTON, AND HENNEPIN COUNTIES IN MINNESOTA. OSD ALSO DELIVERS OVER 61,000 MEALS PER MONTH TO SENIORS IN THEIR HOMES.


THE ORGANIZATION OPERATES A 178 SENIOR APARTMENTS COMPLEX IN CLIVE, IOWA. THE FACILITY CONSISTS OF 116 INDEPENDENT LIVING APARTMENTS AND 62 ASSISTED LIVING APARTMENTS WITH 18 DESIGNATED FOR SPECIAL CARE NEEDS RELATED TO MEMORY ISSUES.


AS A MEANS OF ADDRESSING THE SHORTAGE OF NURSES, INTERNATIONAL NURSE RECRUITMENT WAS FOUNDED TO ASSIST NURSES FROM THE PHILLIPINES TO COME TO THE UNITED STATES FOR EMPLOYMENT. PRESBYTERIAN HOMES AND SERVICES HAS PARTNERED TO MEET THE NEED FOR SENIOR LIVING OPTIONS.
