THE WISCONSIN HOTEL & LODGING ASSOCIATION DETERMINES SERVICES NEEDED BY THE EVOLVING NEEDS OF THE INDUSTRY RANGING FROM MARKETING, COMMUNICATIONS, LEGAL AND OTHER SOURCES, LEGISLATIVE INFORMATION AND REPRESENTATION, AND THE PROVISION OF EDUCATION, DELIVERING THE SERVICES TO MEMBERS IN A COST-EFFECTIVE, TIMELY, AND VALUED MANNER.

OVER 150,000 COPIES OF THE WISCONSIN LODGING DIRECTORY ARE PRINTED AND DISTRIBUTED THROUGH BOTH PAID DISTRIBUTION AND OTHER DELIVERY CHANNELS. THE DIRECTORY INCLUDES LISTINGS OF OVER 600 LODGING PROPERTIES AROUND THE STATE, PROVIDING TRAVELERS WITH A POPULAR AND EASY-TO-USE PRINT GUIDE (WITH A LIVE VERSION ALSO AVAILABLE ON A WEBSITE) TO ENCOURAGE THEM TO BOOK OVERNIGHT STAYS IN WISCONSIN'S LODGING PROPERTIES. MEMBER PROPERTIES HAVE REPORTED THAT THE DIRECTORY GENERATES LEADS FOR THEIR PROPERTIES, PROVIDING INCREASED BUSINESS FOR LODGING PROPERTIES AROUND THE STATE, WHICH CONTRIBUTES TO THEIR OVERALL GENERAL WELFARE AND SUCCESS.
THE WISCONSIN LODGING CONFERENCE AND TRADE SHOW PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS AND PEER-TO-PEER NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES TO HELP PROPERTIES IMPROVE THEIR BUSINESS AND BECOME MORE SUCCESSFUL. THE SYMPOSIUM ALLOWS PROPERTY OWNERS AND OPERATORS TO LEARN ABOUT THE LATEST PRODUCTS AND SERVICES AVAILABLE TO THE INDUSTRY TO MAKE THEM MORE OPERATIONALLY EFFICIENT AND SUCCESSFUL. IN NOVEMBER 2021, 95 OWNERS AND OPERATORS PARTICIPATED IN THIS EVENT.
THE TARGETED MARKETING PROGRAM, FORMERLY KNOWN AS OUR CO-OPERATIVE PROGRAM, PROVIDED APPROXIMATELY 40 OPPORTUNITIES THAT ALLOW MEMBER PROPERTIES TO JOIN TOGETHER TO GAIN COST EFFICIENCIES AND SAVINGS IN MARKETING BY PURCHASING COLLABORATIVE ADVERTISING THAT MARKETS OVERNIGHT STAYS AT PARTICIPATING PROPERTIES AND LOCAL AREAS ALONG WITH ENCOURAGING ACCESS TO ALL MEMBER PROPERTIES BY MARKETING THE ASSOCIATION'S SEARCHABLE WEBSITE THAT LISTS ALL MEMBER LODGING PROPERTIES AROUND THE STATE. THIS PROGRAM CONTRIBUTES TO THE GENERAL WELFARE OF MEMBERS BY ENCOURAGING TRAVELERS TO BOOK OVERNIGHT STAYS AT MEMBER PROPERTIES.
