THE OBJECTIVES OF THE PROFESSIONAL FIRE FIGHTERS OF WISCONSIN, INC. SHALL BE TO CULTIVATE A CLOSER FEELING OF FRIENDSHIP AND FELLOWSHIP AMONG THE FIRE FIGHTERS/EMERGENCY MEDICAL PERSONNEL OF THE STATE OF WISCONSIN; THE PROMOTION OF LEGISLATION TO ADVANCE THE INTERESTS OF FIRE FIGHTERS/EMERGENCY MEDICAL PERSONNEL; TO MAINTAIN AND IMPROVE AN EFFECTIVE AND SUBSTANTIAL PENSION LAW; TO PROMOTE A SAFE AND HEALTHY WORKING ENVIRONMENT FOR FIRE FIGHTERS/EMERGENCY MEDICAL PERSONNEL AS POSSIBLE; TO PROMOTE EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES AS A FIRE-BASED SERVICE; TO PROTECT THE FIRE FIGHTERS/EMERGENCY MEDICAL PERSONNEL IN THEIR POSITIONS; AND THE MAINTENANCE AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE RIGHT TO COLLECTIVE BARGAINING FOR THE FIRE FIGHTERS/EMERGENCY MEDICAL PERSONNEL IN EVERY DEPARTMENT IN THE STATE OF WISCONSIN.PROFESSIONAL FIRE FIGHTERS OF WISCONSIN, INC. (PFFW) LOBBIES ON BEHALF OF FIRE FIGHTERS IN THE STATE OF WISCONSIN TO IMPROVE FIRE FIGHTER AND EMS PERSONNEL SAFETY THROUGH APPROPRIATE ALLOCATION OF RESOURCES TO OPERATE SUCCESSFULLY ON THE SCENE OF A FIRE OR MEDICAL EMERGENCY. PFFW REPRESENTS OVER 4,000 FIRE FIGHTERS IN OVER 100 LOCAL COMMUNITIES ACROSS THE STATE. PFFW ALSO RAISES AWARENESS OF THE IMPORTANCE OF FIRE SAFETY AND OTHER CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS THAT BENEFIT FIRE FIGHTERS AND EMS PERSONNEL.
