THE MISSION OF THE BAYFIELD CIVIC LEAGUE IS TO SUPPORT AND IMPROVE COMMUNITY AND CIVIC LIFE THROUGH LOCAL BEAUTIFICATION, COOPERATION WITH LOCAL GOVERNMENT AND OTHER CIVIC GROUPS ON SELECTED COMMUNITY PROJECTS, AND EXCELLENT MANAGEMENT OF THE COMMUNITY PARK AND COMMON AREAS THAT THE LEAGUE OWNS. WE DO THIS BY BUILDING ON OUR LONG HISTORY OF SUCCESS AND BY FOSTERING MUTUAL RESPECT AND CIVIC RESPONSIBIITY AMONG OUR MEMBERS AND NEIGHBORS.

OUR MAJOR UNDERTAKING THE LEAGUE STARTED WAS TO REBULD THE ICONIC WATERFRONT GAZEBO IN MEMORIAL PARK AFTER YEARS OF MAJOR ROT AND DETERIATION. A MASSIVE FUNDRAISING APPEAL ACCOMPLISHED OUR GOAL OF RAISING 100,000 FOR THE PROJECT IN 2023 WITH WORK BEGINNING IN OCTOBER OF 2023 AND COMPLETION OF THE PROJECT IN MAY OF 2024.
