THE FOUNDATION IS ALWAYS LOOKING FOR WAYS TO BENEFIT OUR NEW CLIENTS DEVELOPEMENT, OUR CLIENT SERVICE PROGRAM STRIVE TO RESOLVE SOME OF THE CHALLANGES ASSICUATED WITH EPILEPSY. THE FOUNDATION ALSO TEACHES SKILLS IN COPING AND ACCEPTING THE DISORDER BY PROVIDING SUPPORT NOT ONLY FROM THE FOUNDATION BUT ALSO FROM PEERS. ADVOCAY ASSISTS CIENTS TO LEARN THEIR RIGHTS WITH REGARD TO THEIR DISABILITY. CASE MANAGEMENT ALSO ASSISTS IN PROVIDING SERVICES TO THE PERSON AS A WHOLE INSTEAD OF JUST THE DISORDER. OUR COMMUNITY EDUCATION PROGRAM PROVIDES EPILEPSY SPECIFIC INFROMATION TO EMPLOYERS, SCHOOLS, CAREGIVERS, AND PROFESSIONALS. COMMUNITY EDUCATION PROGRAMS OFFER IN-SERVICE TRAINING TO TEACHERS, POLICE, EMTS, BUSINESSES, SCHOOL MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS, AND TO THE COMMUNITY. WE ALSO OFFER WORKPLACE EDUCATION SEMINARS TO ASSIST EMPLOYERS IN THEIR UNDERSTANDING OF EPILEPSY AND EMPLOYEES WITH SEIZURE DISORDERS.
