PROMOTE THE ADVANCEMENT OF LAWFUL AND FAIR TRADE PRACTICES, CUSTOMS, AND USAGES TO THE INDUSTRY; 3. PROMOTE THE DEVELOPMENT OF IMPROVED STANDARDS FOR THE PRODUCTS OF THE INDUSTRY AND TO ASSIST MEMBERS IN COMPLYING WITH GOVERNMENTAL REGULATIONS AFFECTING THE INDUSTRY; 4. PROMOTE THE PRODUCTS OF THE INDUSTRY, INCLUDING THE CONDUCT OF TRADE PROMOTION, ADVERTISING, AND PUBLIC RELATIONS ACTIVITIES AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS; 5. THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE PROVIDES AN ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING AND EDUCATES THE MEMBERS ON CURRENT INDUSTTY TRENDS, LEGISLATIVE EVENTS AFFECTING THE INDUSTRY, AND STATE AND FEDERAL LAWS THAT AFFECT THEM. THE 2021 ANNUAL CONVENTION WAS ATTENDED BY 126 MEMBERS.
MANUFACTURED HOME INSTALLATION TRAINING SEMINARS WERE HELD TO ASSIST MEMBERS COMPLY WITH STATE AND FEDERAL LICENSING REQUIREMENTS FOR MANUFACTURED HOME INSTALLATION. THE 2021 SEMINARS, WHICH WAS ONLY ONLINE TRAINING DUE TO COVID, WERE COMPLETED BY 12 MEMBERS.
LANDLORD RESIDENT TRAINING AND RETAIL SALES IS HELD PERIODICALLY TO KEEP OWNERS AND MANAGERS OF MANUFACTURED HOME COMMUNITIES AND SALES PEOPLE UP TO DATE ON THE STATE AND FEDERAL LAWS AFFECTING THE MANAGEMENT AND SALES, INCLUDING WEBINARS ON LAND USE AND ZONING, RENTAL AGREEMENTS AND FINANCE AND LENDING PROGRAMS.
