COULEE CHILDREN'S CENTER'S CHILD CARE PROGRAM PROVIDES STATE LICENSED PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN AGES FOUR WEEKS TO 12 YEARS OF AGE. WE OFFER A SAFE, WARM, NURTURING ENVIRONMENT DESIGNED TO ENHANCE CHILDREN'S SELF-ESTEEM AS WELL AS THEIR DEVELOPMENTAL GROWTH. WITHIN OUR CHILD CARE PROGRAM WE OFFER DEVELOPMENTALLY APPROPRIATE PRESCHOOL ACTIVITIES, USDA APPROVED MEALS AND MANY FIELD TRIPS AND OTHER COMMUNITY OPPORTUNITIES. IN 2021, WE SERVED 87 CHILDREN THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
OUR PUBLIC FOUR-YEAR-OLD PRESCHOOL PROGRAM IS OFFERED THROUGH A PARTNERSHIP WITH THE SCHOOL DISTRICT OF LA CROSSE, WISCONSIN. WE OFFER A FREE 2 HOUR PER DAY PROGRAM TO ELIGIBLE CHILDREN. THIS PROGRAM FOCUSES ON ALL ASPECTS OF CHILD DEVELOPMENT: SOCIAL, EMOTIONAL AND PHYSICAL. IT IS TAUGHT BY A DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC INSTRUCTION LICENSED TEACHER. WE HAD 42 CHILDREN ENROLLED FOR THIS PROGRAM IN 2021.
