CHILDRENS COALITION FOR MENTAL HEALTH BUILDS UPON THE STRENGTHS OF OUR FAMILIES, COMMUNITIES, AND SYSTEMS TO PROMOTE CHILDRENT OPTIMAL SOCIAL EMOTIONAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING. THE COALITION IS FOR FAMILIES WITH BABIES AND CHILDREN UP TO AGE EIGHT IN MILWAUKEE TO FIND THE RESOURCES THAT CAN HELP EACH CHILD TO GROW, WHILE QUESTIONING POLICIES AND PRACTICES THAT COULD BETTER SUPPORT FAMILIES.
PEER RUN RESPITE - PROVIDES PEER-SUPPORTED RECOVERY SERVICES TO FORMER SERVICE MEMBERS OF THE UNITED STATES ARMED FORCES IN TIMES OF LOW-LEVEL CRISIS. THE RR HOUSE IS A HOME-LIKE ENVIRONMENT FOR VETERANS OF ANY BRANCH, ANY DISCHARGE, ANY AGE, AND ANY GENDER/IDENTITY TO FIND A SAFE AND WELCOMING SPACE TO CONNECT WITH STATE-CERTIFIED PEERS WITH SHARED LIVED EXPERIENCE RECOVERING FROM MENTAL HEALTH OR SUBSTANCE ABUSE CHALLENGES.
