STUDENT ENGAGEMENT - STRONG JEWISH STUDENT PARTICIPATION IN MEANINGFUL JEWISH EXPERIENCES, SIGNIFICANT GROWTH IN JEWISH LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES, THE FORMATION OF NEW JEWISH INITIATIVES, INCREASED NUMBERS OF 1+ AND 6+ ENGAGED STUDENTS.


STUDENT LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT - INCREASE IN QUANTITY AND QUALITY OF STUDENT LEADERS ASSOCIATED WITH PENN STATE HILLEL; CONTINUED OPERATION OF THE JEWISH STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS HILLEL SUPPORTS; STUDENT OWNERSHIP OVER CORE PROGRAMMING, AND THE INVOLVEMENT OF HILLEL STUDENT LEADERS IN OTHER LEADERSHIP ACTIVITIES; INCREASED QUALITY OF LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT TRAINING AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF NEW STUDENT INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES.


RELIGIOUS AND JEWISH EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING - SIGNIFICANT PARTICIPATION IN SHABBAT SERVICES AND DINNERS; STRONG INVOLVEMENT IN HIGH HOLIDAY AND PASSOVER MEALS, EXTREMELY STRONG ENGAGEMENT THROUGH JEWISH LEARNING INITIATIVES.

PENN STATE HILLEL'S STUDENT LEADERS, PROFESSIONALS, AND LAY LEADERS ARE DEDICATED TO CREATING A PLURALISTIC, WELCOMING, AND INCLUSIVE ENVIRONMENT FOR JEWISH COLLEGE STUDENTS, WHERE THEY ARE ENCOURAGED TO GROW INTELLECTUALLY, SPIRITUALLY, AND SOCIALLY. PENN STATE HILLEL HELPS STUDENTS FIND A BALANCE IN BEING DISTINCTIVELY JEWISH AND UNIVERSALLY HUMAN BY ENCOURAGING THEM TO PURSUE TZDEK (SOCIAL JUSTICE), TIKKUN OLAM (REPAIRING THE WORLD) AND JEWISH LEARNING, AND TO SUPPORT ISRAEL AND GLOBAL JEWISH PEOPLEHOOD.
