BRIGHT STARS OF BETHLEHEM, NFP (BSB) IS A 501(C)(3) ORGANIZATION FOUNDED IN 2003 FOR THE PURPOSE OF RAISING FUNDING, SUPPORT, AND AWARENESS OF MINISTRIES THAT SERVE THE PEOPLE OF PALESTINE BY FURTHERING EDUCATIONAL, WELLNESS, SOCIAL, AND ECONOMIC PROGRAMS.

BRIGHT STARS OF BETHLEHEM PROVIDES SUPPORT FOR SCHOLARSHIPS FOR THREE PROGRAMS THAT REACH THE PEOPLE OF BETHLEHEM. SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS IN THE DIYAR ACADEMY FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH ARE AGES 6-18 THAT PARTICIPATE IN BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS AND SUMMER INTENSIVE PROGRAMS RANGING FROM MUSIC, ART, DANCE, SOCCER, VOLLEYBALL AND MANY OTHER ACTIVITIES THAT PROMOTE CREATIVE AND EXPRESSIVE OPPORTUNITIES OTHERWISE NOT AVAILABLE FOR FAMILITIES IN THE REGION. FULL OR PARTIAL SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDENTS AT DAR-AL-KALIMA UNIVERSITY ARE CRITICAL FOR 95% OF THE STUDENTS CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN ARTS, COMMUNICATIONS, MUSIC, CULINARY ARTS AND MORE THAT MATRICULATE IN OVER 7 BA DEGREES, 10 AA DEGREES AND CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS. SCHOLARSHIPS FOR OLDER ADULTS IN THE AJYAL PROGRAM ALLOW PEOPLE TO PARTICIPATE IN HEALTH,WELLNESS,PRIMARY PREVENTION AND SOCIALIZATION PROGRAMS ALL YEAR.


BRIGHT STARS OF BETHLEHEM EDUCATES AND BUILDS AWARENESS AND FUNDS FOR SCHOLARSHIPS BY PROVIDING LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES THROUGHOUT THE USA. BSB STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS PRESENT EDUCATIONAL FORUMS, WORKSHOPS, AND LECTURES IN A VARIETY OF FORMATS.


BRIGHT STARS OF BETHLEHEM SUPPORTS AND EDUCATES A US AUDIENCE ON THE OPPORTUNITIES TO OBSERVE THE REALITIES OF THE PALESTINIAN PEOPLE THROUGH COMMUNICATIONS THAT INCLUDE VIDEOS, FILMS, WEBSITES, FACEBOOK AND PRESENTATIONS IN A VARIETY OF FORMATS. BSB ALSO ENCOURAGES CONGREGATIONS/FAITH COMMUNITIES AND INDIVIDUALS IN THE US TO TRAVEL AUTHENTICALLY IN THE HOLY LAND.
