WEBSITE REDEVELOPMENT -- WE REDEVELOPED OUR WEBSITE SO THAT MEMBERS AND VISITORS COULD FIND INFORMATION MORE EASILY, LOCATE INFORMATION ON OUR ACTIVITIES AND PROGRAMS AND REVIEW ORGANIZATIONAL DOCUMENTS AND LEADERSHIP.
WE HELD OUR BIENNIAL CONFERENCE AT RUTGERS UNIVERSITY, NEW JERSEY IN MAY 2023 WITH OVER 360 ATTENDEES PARTICIPATING IN OVER 60 PANELS, PLENARIES, WORKSHOPS AND MEETINGS. WE GAVE 29 GRANTS BETWEEN $400 AND $1000 TO SCHOLARS AND GRADUATE STUDENTS AND $2000 IN PRIZES FOR EXCELLENT SCHOLARSHIP. GAVE SPONSORSHIP OF $1500 FOR A CONFERENCE ON ACADEMIC LABOR AT FLAGER COLLEG
PUBLICATION AND MAILING OF ANNUAL NEWSLETTER TO 636 MEMBERS. OUR ANNUAL NEWSLETTER INCLUDES COVERAGE OF ORGANIZATION ACTIVITIES, A BIBLIOGRAPHY OF RECENT SCHOLARSHIP IN THE FIELD OF LABOR HISTORY, HISTORICAL ANALYSIS OF CURRENT EVENTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS OF UPCOMING ACTIVITIES.
