GRANT GIVEN TO THE DR. STEVEN CLAPCOTE AT LEEDS UNIVERSITY IN THE UNITED KINGDOM TO DEVELOP MICE MODELS AND DEVELOP AN ANTAGONISM OF ENDOGENOUS NA/K-ATPASE INHIBITORS AS A THERAPEUTIC APPROACH FOR ALTERNATING HEMIPLEGIA OF CHILDHOOD AND RELATED DISEASES.

THE CONFERENCE ALLOWED FAMILIES TO MEET FACE-TO-FACE, HEAR PRESENTATIONS ON QUALITY-OF-LIFE TOPICS, GET RESEARCH UPDATES FROM THE LEADING PROJECTS IN ALTERNATING HEMIPLEGIA, PLUS MAKE CONNECTIONS THAT WILL LAST A LIFETIME.
