TO ASSIST MILITARY VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES IN SECURING VA BENEFITS AND EMERGENT ASSISTANCE. WE ALSO ADMINISTER TWO ENERGY ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS. ONE IS A SETTLEMENT PROGRAM BETWEEN DTE AND THE STATE OF MICHIGAN TO ASSIST SELECT DTE CUSTOMERS IN MAKING THEIR HOMES MORE ENERGY EFFICIENT. THE SECOND PROGRAM ASSISTS LOW INCOME INDIVIDUALS OR FAMILIES THROUGH A FURNACE TEST AND TUNE PROGRAM TO ENSURE THEIR FURNACES ARE IN PROPER WORKING CONDITION INCLUDING FREE INSPECTIONS, TEST AND TUNE, PARTS REPLACEMENT UP TO A COMPLETE FURNACE REPLACEMENT WITH A HIGH EFFICIENCY FURNACE.

THROUGH THE DTE ENERGY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM WE ADMINISTER, WE ASSIST DTE CUSTOMERS IN OBTAINING NEW FURNACES, WATER HEATERS, HOME INSULATION, AND OTHER EQUIPMENT/ITEMS TO HELP MAKE THEIR HOMES MORE ENERGY EFFICIENT.
