THE FOUNDATION IS A COLLECTION OF LOCAL FUNDS GIVEN BY INDIVIDUALS, CORPORATIONS, AND FOUNDATIONS TO ENHANCE AND SUPPORT THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR ALL THE PEOPLE IN THE MT. PLEASANT AREA. IN ADDITION TO MANAGING CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTIONS ON BEHALF OF DONORS, THE MT. PLEASANT AREA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION SERVES ISABELLA COUNTY THROUGH THE AWARDING OF GRANTS TO CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS TOTALING 919,892 AND SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDENTS TOTALING 138,700 IN 2022. THE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION'S LARGEST GRANTS IN 2022 WERE AWARDED TO THE MYMICHIGAN HEALTH FOUNDATION, THE CITY OF MT. PLEASANT, AND CHRISTIAN COUNSELING SERVICES.
