MISSION STATEMENT: THE FRIENDS OF THE ESCANABA PUBLIC LIBRARY ARE DEDICATED TO PROVIDING SUPPORT TO THE ESCANABA PUBLIC LIBRARY THROUGH MONETARY DONATIONS THAT PROMOTE PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE AND USE OF THE LIBRARY RESOURCES, SERVICES AND PROGRAMS, WHILE STIMULATING THE USE OF THE LIBRARY AS A CULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL ASSET TO THE COMMUNITY.

TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL RESOURCE MATERIALS FOR PATRONS OF LIBRARY; THIS INCLUDES BOTH PRINTED MATERIALS, TECHNOLOGY RESOURCES AND EQUIPMENT.
PROVIDE PROGRAMS NOT OTHERWISE AVAILABLE TO PATRONS, INCLUDING PROGRAMS PROMOTING READING, EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, AND PROGRAMS PROMOTING THE ARTS.
