SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY CAMPUS CORP (SCITECH) IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION AFFILIATED WITH THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY (OSU). SCITECH IS THE SOLE DEVELOPER OF THE 53 ACRE INNOVATION PARK ON THE CAMPUS OF OSU FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTING AN ENHANCED SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY CAMPUS. IT PROVIDES SPACE FOR TECHNOLOGY RELATED ENTERPRISES AND RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT ENTITIES. SCITECH ALSO PROVIDES FACILITIES FOR COMMERCIAL ENTERPRISES AND RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTES THAT CAN BENEFIT FROM THE RESOURCES AVAILABLE IN THE UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY. ADDITIONALLY, SCITECH HELPS FACULTY MEMBERS TAKE UNIVERSITY RESEARCH TO COMMERCIALIZATION VIA START-UP COMPANIES, THUS ENCOURAGING ENTREPENEURSHIP IN HIGH TECHNOLOGY IN COLUMBUS, OHIO.
