THE FOUNDATION IS A GRANTMAKER, PHILANTHROPIC VEHICLE, COMMUNITY LEADER, AND VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATION. AS A GRANTMAKING ORGANIZATION, SCF IS ABLE TO ASSIST CHARITABLE AGENCIES AND ACTIVITIES THAT PROVIDE SPECIFIC AND NECESSARY SERVICES IN OUR COMMUNITY. AS A PHILANTHROPIC VEHICLE, THE FOUNDATION WORKS WITH ANY AND ALL INDIVIDUALS WHO WANT A MEANS OF GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY IN A BROAD OR SPECIFIC WAY. AS A LEADER IN THE COMMUNITY, THE FOUNDATION WORKS WITH ORGANIZATIONS, SUCH AS THE UNITED WAY OF SAGINAW COUNTY, TO CONDUCT COMMUNITY SURVEYS. AS A VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATION, SCF GATHERS DIVERSE GROUPS OF PEOPLE TO ASSIST WITH VARIOUS FOUNDATION EFFORTS.
