THE FLINT CHILDREN'S MUSEUM IS A PREMIER EARLY LEARNING CENTER THAT OFFERS INFORMAL, HANDS-ON EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES IN THE SCIENCES, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, MATH , AND THE ARTS. MORE THAN 40 PERMANENT EXHIBITS DESIGNED TO SUPPLEMENT MICHIGAN CURRICULUM BENCHMARKS ENGAGE CHILDREN AGES BIRTH THORUGH EIGHT IN EXPLORATION AND LEARNING THROUGH HANDS-ON PLAY. MONTHLY EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS ARE DESIGNED FOR YOUNG VISITORS, FIELD TRIPS, AND OTHER GROUPS. THE FLINT CHILDREN'S MUSEUM SERVES MORE THAN 60,000 VISITORS ON AND OFFSITE EACH YEAR.
