GENEVA'S MISSION IS TO PROVIDE CAMPING EXPERIENCES WHICH HELP YOUTH DEVELOP AND DEEPEN THEIR RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CHRIST AND TO PROVIDE AN ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH CHURCH AND NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS CAN RETREAT TO BOTH PERSONALLY AND ORGANIZATIONALLY RENEW AND REFOCUS.

GENEVA'S SUMMER YOUTH CAMPING PROGRAM INVITES YOUNG PEOPLE AGES 6-18 INTO AWEEK LONG CHRISTIAN CAMP PROGRAM THAT IS AIMED AT DEVELOPING THEIR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD AND COMMITMENT TO SERVING CHRIST WITH THEIR LIVES. DURING THE 2022 SUMMER SEASON, 3,948 CAMPERS PARTICIPATED IN THE FOUR CAMPING PROGRAMS (DAY CAMP FOR GRADES ONE - FOUR, RESIDENTIAL CAMPS FOR ELEMENTARY, MIDDLE SCHOOL, AND HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH). HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE IMAGINATION WEEK, CONNECT WEEK, AND DAY CAMPS WITH AN OPTION TO TRY AN OVERNIGHT EXPERIENCE. IN ADDITION TO ITS SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM, GENEVA SPONSORS SEVERAL EVENTS FOR YOUTH, ADULTS AND FAMILIES INCLUDING YOUTH RETREATS, WINTER CAMP, AND WEEKEND FAMILY CAMP WHICH INTEGRATES THE FUN ACTIVITIES OF A WEEKEND RETREAT WITH PROGRAMMING INCLUDING BIBLE STUDIES AND TIME OF WORSHIP. IN ADDITION, GENEVA SPONSORS COMMUNITY EVENTS SUCH AS A COMMUNITY OPEN HOUSE AND FAMILY CAMP.
GENEVA INVITES CHURCHES AND NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS TO USE ITS FACILITIES FOR VARIOUS RETREATS AND OFF-SITE PROGRAMMING THAT ENABLE PARTICIPANTS TO STEP AWAY FROM THE DISTRACTIONS OF EVERYDAY LIFE INTO A QUIET SETTING IN WHICH THEY CAN FOCUS. THOSE EVENTS TAKE THE FORM OF QUIET DAYS OF PRAYER, GROUP PLANNING SESSIONS, COMMUNITY AND TEAM-BUILDING EVENTS. DURING 2022, 233 GROUPS INCLUDING 12,032 PEOPLE USED GENEVA FOR THAT PURPOSE.
