THE BHUTANESE COMMUNITY OF CINCINNATI WAS ESTABLISHED TO CREATE A COMMON PLATFORM FOR ALL BHUTANESE LIVING IN CINCINNATI TO WORK IN UNISON, CONNECT TO RESOURCES PROMOTE LANGUAGE AND CULTURE.

EMPLOYEES HELP NEWLY RESETTLED BHUTANESE REFUGEES WITH THEIR TRANSITION TO THE UNITED STATES. HELP IS OFFERED THOUGH VARIOUS METHODS, INCLUDING CONNECTING PEOPLE WITH JOB OPPORTUNITIES FROM RELATIONSHIPS BUILT WITH LOCAL BUSINESS OWNERS, EDUCATION AND AWARENESS PROGRAMS, AND INFORMATION ABOUT HOUSING, HEALTH AND FAMILY SERVICES.
THE COMMUNITY CENTER IS A PLACE WHERE COMMUNITY MEMBERS CAN COME FOR SERVICES, SUPPORT AND EDUCATION ABOUT OPPORTUNITIES TO HELP THEM ACCLIMATE TO THE LIFE AND LIBERTIES OF LIVING IN AMERICA.
PROGRAM EXPENSES SUCH AS FUNERAL ASSISTANCE TO FAMILIES WHO HAVE LOST LOVED ONES, COMMUNITY PROGRAMS AIMED AT PRESERVING SOCIAL NORMS AND CULTURAL HERITAGE WHILE INTEGRATING INTO AMERICAN SOCIETY, AND FAMILY PROGRAMS FOR GENERAL INFORMATION AND AWARENESS ABOUT PROSPERING IN THE USA.
