FARM TO FAMILY FOOD BOX PROGRAM: PROVIDED $11792.99 FOR FUNDING THE FARM TO FAMILY PROGRAM. FRESH LOCAL PRODUCE IS DELIVERED TO AN AVERAGE OF 50 FAMILIES WITHIN LOW-INCOME HOUSING UNITS FROM JAN 2021-DEC 2021. THE FOOD BOX PROGRAM ALSO INTEGRATES HEALTHY LIVING AND NUTRITION EDUCATION.
MENTAL HEALTH/TRAUMA INFORMED PROGRAM: PROVIDED 65727.66 TO SUPPORT THE MENTAL HEALTH/TRAUMA INFORMED SCHOOL PROJECTS. A TRAUMA INFORMED CONFERENCE WAS PRESENTED TO THE NEVADA R-5 SCHOOL DISTRICT IN JANUARY 2020. BEGINNING IN JULY 2020, MY MIND, MY BODY, MY POWER PROGRAM WAS LAUNCHED IN 7 SCHOOLS PROVIDING STRESS MANAGEMENT/TRAUMA INFORMED EDUCATION AND MATERIALS, FIDGET PACKETS FOR STUDENTS AND TEACHERS, AND FURNITURE TO FURNISH CALM ROOMS FOR EACH SCHOOL.
