PLANNED PARENTHOODS COMMUNITY HEALTH EDUCATION PROGRAMS ENGAGE PARENTS, EDUCATORS, AND PEERS TO REDUCE THE RATES OF UNPLANNED PREGNANCY AND SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASES IN TEXAS. THE PROGRAMS ARE IMPLEMENTED BY PROFESSIONAL HEALTH EDUCATORS TRAINED TO PROVIDE AGE-APPROPRIATE, MEDICALLY ACCURATE INFORMATION AND ENHANCE THE SKILLS AND SUPPORT INDIVIDUALS NEED TO MAKE WELL-INFORMED AND POSITIVE DECISIONS ABOUT THEIR RELATIONSHIPS AND THEIR SEXUAL HEALTH.
