PROGRAM SERVICES CONSIST OF THE FOLLOWING: (1) 24 HOUR CRISIS/SUPPORT LINES - PROVIDE EMOTIONAL SUPPORT, NEED ASSESSMENTS, IDENTIFICATION OF OPTIONS AND ASSIST WITH OBTAINING EMERGENCY SAFE SHELTER, (2) INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING & SUPPORT - CONFIDENTIAL COUNSELING TO WALK-INS AND BY APPOINTMENT; YOUTH COUNSELORS ALSO AVAILABLE, (3) EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT GROUPS - MEET WEEKLY, (4) EMPOWERMENT COURSES - TOPICS INCLUDING SELF-DISCOVERY AND SELF-IMAGE, COMMUNICATION SKILLS, STRESS AND MONEY MANAGEMENT, (5) YOUTH EDUCATION - TEACH VIOLENCE PREVENTION AT LOCAL SCHOOLS, (6) COMMUNITY EDUCATION - PROFESSIONAL TRAININGS ARE OFFERED TO LAW ENFORCEMENT, MEDICAL & SOCIAL SERVICE PROVIDERS; ALSO ATTENTD HEALTH AND EDUCATIONAL FAIRS, AND (7) COURT ADVOCACY - COURT ADVOCATES PROVIDE SUPPORT AND ASSISTANCE TO VICTIMS.
