THE WATER INFORMATION SHARING AND ANALYSIS CENTER (WATERISAC) IS AN ORGANIZATION THAT CONDUCTS THREAT ANALYSIS AND DISSEMINATES THREAT AND VULNERABILITY INFORMATION AND BEST PRACTICES FOR WATER AND WASTEWATER UTILITIES. THE CENTER PROVIDES A METHOD OF COMMUNICATION BETWEEN THE UTILITIES AND FEDERAL AGENCIES DEALING WITH SECURITY, LAW ENFORCEMENT, INTELLIGENCE, THE ENVIRONMENT AND PUBLIC HEALTH.
