TO PUT CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLES INTO PRACTICE THROUGH PROGRAMS THAT BUILD HEALTHY SPIRIT, MIND, AND BODY FOR ALL. ACTIVITIES INCLUDE CHILD CARE; YOUTH DEVELOPMENT THROUGH A VARIETY OF YOUTH SPORTS, LEADERSHIP PROGRAMS AND SPECIAL NEEDS PROGRAMS; FAMILY EVENTS; AND VOLUNTEER DEVELOPMENT FOR ALL AGES.

THE LINCOLN AREA YMCA SERVES OVER 1000 CHILDREN EACH YEAR IN OVER 30 DIFFERENT PROGRAMS THROUGHOUT LOGAN COUNTY THAT PROVIDE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT LESSONS, STRONG ADULT ROLE MODELS, SAFE, NURTURING ENVIRONMENTS, HEALTHY HABITS, AND SKILL BUILDING ALL WHILE HAVING JUST PLAIN FUN. NO CHILD IS EVER TURNED AWAY FOR INABILITY TO PAY PROGRAM OR MEMBERSHIP FEES. DEDICATED INSTRUCTORS ARE HAND PICKED, BACKGROUND CHECKED, THOROUGHLY TRAINED AND WELL SUPERVISED. VOLUNTEERS ARE ENCOURAGED AND PUT THROUGH THE SAME RIGOROUS TRAINING AND BACKGROUND CHECKING.AS A NON-FACILITY YMCA, COLLABORATIONS CONTINUE TO BE SOUGHT OUT AND NURTURED TO ENSURE THE BEST POSSIBLE COMMUNITY RELATIONS AND THE BEST POSSIBLE PROGRAM SITES.
