NET PROCEEDS ARE USED TO HELP FUND THE SOCIETY'S ARCHIVAL PRESERVATION ACTIVITIES AND OPERATING EXPENSES. STORE ITEMS ARE MADE AVAILABLE TO 685 MEMBERS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC ON THE SOCIETY'S WEBSITE AND AT A STOREFRONT LOCATION IN KANSAS CITY, MO.
ANNUAL CONVENTION. SOCIETY HOLDS AN ANNUAL CONVENTION FOR 685 MEMBERS, SPOUSES, AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC. EVENTS AT THE YEARLY CONVENTIONS INCLUDE BUSINESS MEETINGS, OFFICER ELECTIONS, PRESENTATIONS OF HISTORICAL, SOCIETY RELATED TOPICS, AND TOURS OF LOCAL, HISTORICAL RAILROAD FACILITIES.
MEMBERSHIP AND PUBLICATIONS. SOCIETY PUBLISHES QUARTERLY MAGAZINES AND A YEARLY CALENDAR TO 685 MEMBERS. MATERIALS ARE MADE AVAILABLE TO 685 MEMBERS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC. ARCHIVE ACTIVITIES INCLUDE ACCEPTANCE AND ORGANIZATION OF PHYSICAL DOCUMENTS AND IMAGES AND ELECTRONIC PRESERVATION.
